The Principals and Associates at Trade Innovations have extensive experience in the intricacies of compliance to customs laws, rules, and regulations. We specialize in designing import administration programs for small and medium sized (SME's) importers as their programs grow in volume and complexity. We also provide comprehensive reviews of existing international trade operations as a precursor to a CBP Focused Assessment (FA); or to simply review and improve your level of customs compliance. Our review focuses on ensuring an importer is meeting or exceeding the standards and burden of reasonable care by having adequate internal controls to effectively manage their importations into the United States. Trade Innovations reviews and examines every aspect of the import process; beginning with the vendor and sampling process and ending with liquidation and post-entry matters.
Just like scheduling a routine check-up, many TII clients prefer to have us review their import compliance program on an annual basis. Other clients have just been notified of an impending Focused Assessment (FA) or are attempting to achieve ISA status.
